PRA needed to increase the efficiency of their teams managing Clinical Trials on behalf of their customers. This would lead to improved margins, customer satisfaction and decreased risk.
Using legacy BPM software and manual processes to manage hundreds of concurrent projects consisting of thousands of tasks involving both internal & external organizations around the world over multiple years resulted in inefficiencies leading to missed deadlines, increased headcount requirements, task mis-management and customer dissatisfaction. In addition, due to lack of visibility into these processes and projects, problems became visible only after they became apparent to management and customers.
